Security and Confidentiality

The DRCO is a secure website hosted by SEED Protocol. OU CIRS staff members have access to school personnel names and email addresses so that they can register them in the system and offer technical support. When data are downloaded from the website for any purpose (research or analytics), names and email addresses are never included in the download. Names and email addresses are never shared with other entities for any purpose without prior consent.

OU CIRS staff members do not have access to student names or parent names. When a school personnel register a student in the system, the student and parent are given identification numbers.  CIRS staff are never given student or parent names, or parent email addresses. Thus, when consulting with school personnel, CIRS staff members will communicate about a case using the student’s number. Just as with school personnel data, when data are downloaded from the website for any purpose (research or analytics), names and email addresses are never included in the download. Names and email addresses are never shared with other entities for any purpose without prior consent.
